Traders should get to know the features, components and tools offered by IQ Options before they start trading on the platform.
- Binary options types: There are 2 ways to trade on IQ Option – regular and turbo. The regular option uses a binary option contract with an expiry time of 3, 5, 15, and 30 minutes, hourly, and up to month end. The turbo option involves an option with a 30 or 120 second contract.
- Trading platform: The IQ Option HTML5 online trading platform was developed in-house. It was developed by financial and IT specialists and features advanced analytical tools to enable both new and experienced traders to trade. Multiple charts can be viewed for technical and historical analysis, and demo trading is available. This platform has also won accolades and awards from industry for its intuitive, modern, and responsive features and design. It supports several operating systems, allowing it to be used on Ubuntu, Windows and Mac OS X. For trading on the go mobile apps are available for Android and iPhone.
- Investment amount: A minimum deposit of $10 is required for a standard account and debit/credit cards, wire transfers, or online payment gateways may be used. Live trading starts at a minimum of $1 with a maximum investment of $1,000. An optional VIP account requires an initial deposit of $3,000.
- Assets: There are in excess of 500 assets that can be trades, including commodities, stocks and currencies.

5. Payouts: This depends on the traded asset and the expiration term chosen. Generally, options with medium or long terms pay out more than short-term ones do. IQ Option has a big edge in that payouts can be as much as 90% with no fees or commissions charged by IQ Option when trades are opened or closed.
6. Withdrawals: Withdrawals can be made once a profit has been realized. The process for withdrawal does not have any complicated steps and methods available include e-wallets, payment gateways and credit cards. The minimum that can be withdrawn is $2 with a maximum of $1 million. Although IQ Option processes withdrawal requests within a day, how soon you’ll get the payment varies. Banks typically take between 7 and 9 days, while for an e-wallet it is about one day.
